This blessing is recited when arriving at various special moments, such as the birth of a
child, a holiday, wearing new clothes, or seeing a friend after a long absence.  Not only
will this blessing be recited at the moment of redemption, but from that point on it
will be recited each year on the day of redemption, which will become a holiday.

Blessed are you, O Lord, Our God, King of the universe,
who has kept us alive, upheld us, and let us reach this time.
